Are you in that season of “in-between” right now? In this 5-minute clip, Pastor Gil shares that God plans to recreate your life, giving it purpose, destiny, and hope.  But we have to let God tear up, root out, and reorganize our lives in the process.  Be encouraged that God is at work building and recreating your life and making it better.

📖 Scripture: Genesis 1:1-2

Hey, this is Pastor Gill from the Father's House East in Jensen Beach, Florida, and we welcome you to our weekly podcast. Thank you for joining us today for the relevant messages and genuine conversations. We hope dreams and God's promises for you are awakened and restored. Be inspired, be challenged, and be reminded that God is not done with your story and he has more for you than you can think or imagine. Enjoy the message. I want to speak to the people who might be in between right now. God said in Genesis chapter 1, verse 1, it says, In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And in that word, creation means work. I can give you several examples. You might remember when you get ready to build a house, you have to clear the land. You have to tear down, move around, fill in the land. It gets pretty evasive. I mean, there's total carnage, if you will. And in that creation, there is a plan. There's not something that's just thrown together. It's not like, hey, we're gonna build a house here, we're just gonna rip everything down and move on. Now, some builders do that and without naming names, but north of here, where we live, there's a community, and that's the general consensus. Just level a lot and then begin to build. But that's not exactly the way God does it. God gets in, he has a plan from the very get-go. And he gets into uh when he created the heavens and the earth, it was formless and void. But it doesn't mean that God ripped the whole heavens apart and just made a white, clean slate and then started over again. He took what he had. There were resources up there that God used to formulate and move and put into order. And then we have the heavens and the and and the earth and the planets and the suns. And that's what God does. He says he takes things that that are good, they might be out of order and they might be formless and they might be without purpose at the time. But God takes those things and he digs them up and he moves them around and he repurposes them. And so I want to speak to those right now that you're at a time in your life where you just don't know which way to go. You don't know where to turn. You have a time in your life where nothing seems to be going right, everything's coming against you, there's no real form in your life, there's no uh direction, and you're like at the point of ready to give up. And I want to say God is in the creation business. God wants to take you at this time and reformulate you. I know that my wife and I have been in that season where God tears down, he moves around, gets rid of some things, and reformulates things. But God's plan is for you, and he wants to recreate you in his image. He wants to recreate your life, he wants to give it purpose, he wants to give it destiny, he wants to bring hope into your life, but you have to let God do it. You have to let God tear down, root up, and reorganize your life. If you don't, you will miss out on the very special gift that God has for you. I want to encourage us, in the beginning of our lives, there is always that chance of getting hurt. Even in the middle of our lives, when we think we've got it all together and we're all that in a bag of chips, God's still not finished with you. And things might not be going exactly the way you think they should. But God is in the business of recreating your life, your destiny, and your purpose. And he's not just gonna wipe your slate clean, he's gonna reuse what he's given you. Be encouraged today. Be encouraged that God is not finished with you. God is not done building and creating in your life, he will do that until you're in glory. But God is in the creation business at the Father's house. Our purpose, our calling is to rebuild the ancient ruins and to redig ancient wells. And I don't know if you've ever had to rebuild something that was torn apart or it was old and dilapidated, but it takes work. And you don't go in and you don't rip things apart just because you can. In reconstruction, you take apart things, you move things around, you save what is good, you discard what is damaged, and you rebuild it. That's how God works in our lives. He's not there to create a whole new being, he's there to rebuild what he already created. He's going to make it better, he's gonna bring you to a place of fulfillment. And when it's all said and done, the remodel work that God wants to do in you will be absolutely beautiful. So be encouraged. We love you here at the Father's House. Let God do his work in you. Amen. Amen. Thanks for listening. If you've enjoyed the podcast, be sure to subscribe. Click the share button, and take a screenshot and share it on your social media pages.
